Check in is from 2:00pm on the day of your arrival. If you require an early check in, please contact reception and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Fees may be applicable to early check in.
You will be required to sign our check in form and where required, provide payment in full and a credit card guarantee
For your convenience, we also offer our guests a Contactless check in. Our reception team member will contact you on the day of your arrival to provide you with all the details
Check out time is 10:00am on the day of your departure.
If you wish to depart earlier than 8:00am, we ask that you settle your account at reception the previous day
If you wish to request a late check out, please contact reception to confirm availability.
A charge of $30.00 per hour after 10:00am will be added to your account
If you are checking out and the reception office is unattended, we ask that you leave your room key in the door of your room.
Alternatively, please deposit the room key in the letterbox, which is located next to the reception office
We accept AMEX, VISA & MASTERCARD. Please note that AMEX transactions incur a 2.0% Surcharge.
Payment for your stay is also available via EFTPOS

For your safety your room door and also the the front entry doors to the loft rooms and the cottage are equipped with a self-locking system.
When the doors shut, they automatically lock, so please be mindful to take your key with you when exiting the room.
There is a $40.00 call out fee for a staff member to attend the motel, should you lock yourself out during your stay.

Car Parking is free of charge to our guests, subject to availability and on a first occupied basis. The motel DOES NOT guarantee parking for all guest's vehicles
Guests entering the property car park do so at their own risk. The accommodation provider is not liable for any loss or damage to a vehicle nor to any property or effects of any persons entering the car park
There is an EV Charger located in the car park behind Slow Wine. There is a charge of $25 to use the charger.
We kindly ask that you only park in this space whilst charging your car as a courtesy to other guests that may also need to make use of the charger
For your convenience we have a guest laundry open for use from 2:00pm to 7:00pm daily.
The cost per load is $10.00

A guest barbeque and seating area is located at the rear of the property behind Rooms 17 & 18.
Please make sure the gas is fully turned off after use.
As it is a communal area, we request the the BBQ and utensils and BBQ seating area are left clean and tidy for the next guest
A portable cot is available on request from reception. The hire fee is $10.00 for the duration of your stay
Foldaway beds are available on request from reception. The hire fee is $25.00 for the duration of your stay

A range of Natural Earth amenities are provided in your bathroom for a little bit of luxury.
The Loft rooms feature a luxurious two person bathtub.
Natural Earth Bath mineral bath salts are available for purchase from reception.
Natural Earth products are made using world renown Active Manuka Honey sourced from pristine native forests of NZ.
The range is environmentally conscious and is made using recycled packaging.

As much as we love them, pets are NOT ALLOWED , however, we do have a few rooms specifically allocated for guests that wish to travel with their dog.
Dog friendly rooms can be booked directly with the motel and are subject to approval. All pooches must be registered prior to check in and adhere to our Doggy Code of Conduct.

If rooms are found have have had an unregistered pet in them, a cleaning fee of $150.00 will be charged. The exception is for guests that have a Service Animal required for assistance, which should have been notified to reception
Guests at Millthorpe Boutique Motel shall remain responsible at all time for any loss or damage to the property caused by the guest or the guest invitee
All our Motel rooms, Reception area, Loft Rooms and the Cottage are all smoke FREE, including Smoking, Vaping & E-Cigarettes
A designed smoking area is located at the back of the motel Cottage positioned at the top of the car park.
A $200 deep clean fee will be applied to any rooms that are smoke affected.
The NSW Government Smoke-Free Environment Act 2000 prohibits smoking within 4 meters of motel entry points.
Smoking outside guest rooms is NOT permitted by law.
The motel's accommodation and facilities are for all guests. Please respect the comfort and wellbeing of others and keep noise levels to a minimum.
Noise levels of guests and their invitees, should be at an acceptable level as judged by the motel's management and other guests.

Our history dates from the 1930's
The motel was developed using the shells of two existing buildings. It was for a time, the biggest economic development in the town.
The motel started with twelve rooms and was developed by four Millthorpe locals, Sam Kay and his wife Shona and builder Greg Good and his wife Loretto. Construction started at the end of January 2008 and invloved the gutting of a 1930's produce store and a Victorian cottage. It was of the greatest importance that the streetscape and the overall character of the buildings were preserved. Wherever possible, the internal features were also retained
The produce store now holds the motel reception and two loft apartments, while the cottage has a two-bedroom apartment and studio room. The rear of the block was first developed with eight units in new structures with another eight units added later.
The Millthorpe Boutique Motel was opened in late 2008 offering four star accommodation and over the years has retained it's four star AAA rating

We are located three hours drive from Sydney and Canberra and just 11 minutes from Orange airport.
From Orange head east on the Mitchell Hwy following the signs for Bathurst. Approximately 7km out of Orange turn right - signs say Blayney, Millthorpe & Airport. Travel a further 7km to the village of Millthorpe. At the Post Office turn west (right) down the hill. Motel is in the beginning of the second block on the left adjacent Millthorpe General Store.
From Bathurst head west on the Mitchell Hwy following the signs to Orange. Approximately 20kms from Bathurst at Vittoria turn left and follow road into Millthorpe a further 14km. This road brings you into the village at the Post Office. Simply head straight down the hill and you will find our motel in the second block on the left adjacent the Millthorpe General Store.
